Simply park your car within the designated car park and walk to our Pumpkin Field, just a stone’s throw away. Don’t miss out on our Halloween-themed photo opportunities, bale mountain, hot food & drinks, sweets and a diverse assortment of pumpkins of course!

Halloween Trail

Wanda The Witches Quest at Apperley Hall Farm. This October half term for a spooktacular adventure! Come dressed in your Halloween costumes and tag us in your photos. Remember to bring your pen or pencil, to write down your findings!

Home Reared Beef Burgers - 14th & 15th October

Face painting - we have our fabulous Christine at the pumpkin patch ready to paint some spooktacular designs!

Face painting is at the patch on the following dates:

14th & 15th, 21st & 22nd, 26th - 31st

(This will be an additional charge).

FAQ’s

Do I need to book a ticket and how much are the pumpkins?
Pre booking required. Ticketing our pumpkin patch helps ensure everyone has a safe and convenient experience by spreading visitors out to ensure minimum queuing.

How much are the pumpkins?

Pumpkin prices start at £1 and are priced by size put to £10. Please note the farm can take card or cash payments.

Where do I park?
Please follow the signs to The Pumpkin Patch in Apperley, Wick lane, GL19 4DT (by the Farmers Arms Pub) - there is ample space to park your car in the field.

What will I find at the Pumpkin field?
At the Pumpkin Fields, explore rows upon rows of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes until you find the perfect one to call your own. Don’t miss the chance to capture unforgettable memories on your visit. There’s plenty of Halloween themed photo opportunities, a halloween trail, face painting, snacks & drinks.

Is it suitable for pushchairs?
Our Pumpkin Fields are accessible for buggies, however please note we are in a natural environment where the ground can be hilly and bumpy in places. There is a stile to climb over during the halloween trail, so this is not suitable for buggies.

What happens if it rains?
Our PYO experience is open come rain or shine, we would always recommend keeping an eye on the weather forecast and coming prepared with plenty of layers, wellies and your brolly!

Can I visit with dogs?
Unfortunately we don’t allow dogs for health and safety reasons.

Is it suitable for wheelchair users?
Visitors using a walking aid or wheelchair may find the terrain at our pumpkin patch unsuitable. The experience is in a natural, farm environment including pathways that are not all flat and uneven ground.

What facilities are available?
Toilet facilities are available at the Pumpkin Fields. Unfortunately Baby-changing facilities are not available.

Do you provide wheelbarrows to carry the pumpkins?
Wheelbarrows will be available to transport your pumpkins from the picking fields back to your vehicles.

Is there any food and drink available at the Pumpkin Field?
At our PYO Pumpkin Field, you can enjoy hot and cold drinks and snacks.
